A rose gold and copper fall wedding at Bristol Harbour

When I meet newly engaged couples and I listen to their love stories, I’m always fascinated and in awe of of the circumstances that lead them to that distinct moment that it all began. Vanessa and Joe have an amazing love story and it all began in a kickboxing class. How cool is that?!! And even though they both wanted it to progress naturally, I think they both knew.

Months later I had the opportunity to meet up with them for coffee and got to watch the sweet connection they share and I knew how lucky I was and how amazing their wedding day was going to be. Wow, that was an understatement!

The drive to Bristol Harbour was a little disheartening, thunderstorms were on the forecast and I drove in and out of rain the whole way. I know how hard Vanessa had planned and all the beautiful details this talented graphic designer had created and I prayed for the weather to clear! Low and behold, I pulled in and it never rained again until well into the reception! The sun even popped out during the ceremony, right as Vanessa walked down the aisle! The whole day was filled with incredibly touching moments between these two and it was overwhelming how much love and excitement they shared! I think I only cried half a dozen times!!

The copper and rose gold touches throughout the day were just perfect and the gorgeous view that served as the backdrop was a real show stopper! Vanessa and Joe are two of the sweetest and down to earth people you’ll ever meet and I am so grateful to have gotten to know them!
