October is my favorite month for weddings. I have a thing about fall, the sunlight shines a little differently through the leaves and the temp is just right. Maybe it was because I was born in the fall, I’m not sure but the love is real.
I had been looking forward to Cait & Gunnar’s wedding, especially after their gorgeous engagement session at the George Eastman house! On the drive the morning of the wedding, I was reminded of this one particular detail Cait shared during a phone call about something they loved doing together and it stuck in my mind. Cait talked about her and Gunnar writing poems together. That detail painted such a lovely image in my mind.
The 1920’s restored hotel, Marriott in beautiful downtown Syracuse was the perfect choice for you guys! The chandeliers were everything in that ballroom, wow!! This Gatsby-era hotel is definitely on my list of places to stay the next time I’m in town and if you haven’t checked it out, it’s so worth it!!
Cait, you were the most stunning bride! The look on Gunnar’s face when he saw you walking down the aisle was the best and the two of you are amazing together. The entire day was gorgeous and a wonderful reflection of the two of you! Cheers to you guys in this next chapter!!
Thank you to all the wonderful vendors that made their day beautiful!
