Melody and Joseph met in college at their local radio station – Joseph a host of a couple of shows and Melody pushing herself out of her comfort zone to meet people. Although at first glance these two may seem like opposites, I think they are two peas in a pod! They both share the same witty sarcastic sense of humor (that had us in stitches the entire night) and the most genuine, down to earth souls. They are definitely the yin to each other’s yang and so sweetly take care of each other.
The evening started with some custom jerseys and a little time on the ice – celebrating one of the hobbies they enjoy, hockey. I was totally motivated to go out and try something new as they shared the story of how they found the sport. Shooting on the ice in cutesy shoes was in hindsight not my most brilliant plan but hey, my cautious waddling was worth the laughs! We ended the shoot in the quaint village of Fairport walking along the canal and enjoying the beautiful flowering trees. Afterwards, we celebrated with some ice cream and told stories until Melody froze her toosh off!
I can’t believe how lucky I am to get to be a part of your wedding, thank you for being so awesome! I can’t wait for October!
