Plantation Party House Wedding

The Plantation Party House is a mostly inclusive venue where you can get ready, have your ceremony and reception all in one place. There are hotels within 10 minutes for your guests to stay like the Fairfield Inn or the Homewood Suites by Hilton which makes travel at the end of the night a breeze. The grounds are secluded and there is plenty of parking for your guests. Both are total bonuses!

Diane and Charles’ original wedding plans were altered so they had already said “I do” at an intimate ceremony but today was the day they pulled out all the stops for their fall wedding at the Plantation Party House! The day was full of their family helping with many of the details like the cake. Making the whole affair super personal. Diane and her girls looked amazing and I loved how the bridesmaid’s dresses were the same color as Charles’ dinner jacket! I am loving the dinner jacket for some serious groom style this year! A super fun way to add a colorful pop!

After the beautiful ceremony in the garden, we traveled to Sarah’s Garden center in Brockport, NY. This was the first time I had visited the gardens but I had heard how amazing they were and they did not disappoint! The garden made it super easy for our group and allowed us to reserve a time slot for photos. There were many gorgeous vignettes to choose from that worked with two people or the entire large wedding party. It was whimsical and romantic and even had a large pond and stonework for an old-world feel. I was really inspired by the love and dedication of the owner’s vision. I cannot wait to go back and walk the grounds on my own and have loads of time to fully appreciate all the details. Not everything was for looks, they had an incredible variety of plants available so I’ll be back to stock up my own garden. I will definitely suggest this as an alternate location for photos anytime I’m in this area!

The evening had a relaxed vibe of a couple getting to carry out their dream day. One of my favorite moments came during the ceremony when their fur baby came dashing down the aisle straight to Charles. It was the perfect feel-good moment before Diane walked so beautifully down the aisle with her father.

A heartfelt THANK YOU

This gorgeous wedding wrapped up my 2021 wedding & portrait season. I’m so grateful to close it on a high with another year full of amazing couples and families. I still pinch myself that I’ve been lucky enough to have a career I love for so many years. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for choosing me to share these beautiful moments with you. Its been an honor to create beautiful photographs of these unforgettable times and create friendships along the way.
