An Ithaca Farmer’s Market wedding full of spring blossoms in every color and two incredibly kind and beautiful people – yes, please! Working with Emma & Jacob was a pure joy from start to finish. Truly. Together with their wedding planner, Shawn of Happiest Day Designs they planned the most incredible day along Cayuga Lake.
This romantic day started at the historic Argos Inn with Emma’s bridesmaids taking the best care of her the whole morning. The energy in the room reflected Emma’s thoughtful and fun personality and wrapped up with her parents coming for a first look that was so sweet. We were all obsessed with how gorgeous Emma was and how amazing her Pronovias gown looked on her.
With private vows under the most incredible tree at Cornell Botanical Gardens, I honestly couldn’t have dreamed up a more perfect location for these two.
Emma and Jacob’s personal and professional accomplishments are beyond impressive and yet you will not meet two more kind and appreciative souls. Having only spoken over the phone leading up to their beautiful wedding I knew this day was going to be good. From the moment I saw these two interact so intentionally and lovingly with each other my heart absolutely melted.
Their wedding party was a testament to their character as each one went out of their way to take care of the other and make sure Emma & Jacob along with their families had the most spectacular day. Gosh, how amazing is that?
I’ve traveled to Ithaca many times but this was my first experience with an Ithaca Farmer’s Market wedding and I LOVED it!! You all know how much I love being along the water. This open-air market with rustic wood floors really gave a down-to-earth and artistic vibe which spoke to this couple’s love of the outdoors and Emma’s love for the area. The cello and violin duo serenading the ceremony set the romantic stage for the ceremony beautifully.
As the sun faded and the romantic sunset photos took place, the door opened for the real fun to begin! With so many guests and friends having graduated, this was truly an epic celebration! John traveled from NYC and knew just the right songs to play to keep the dance floor packed! I had a blast capturing everyone truly enjoying the moment and dancing the night away!
Thank you to the amazing team who helped make this day possible! Thank you, Emma & Jacob, from the bottom of my heart for choosing me to be there with you while you celebrated life together. I wish you a lifetime of love and dreams fulfilled!
