Weddings at The Highline Rochester NY

The Highline Rochester is one of the city’s most sophisticated downtown wedding venues. It has two distinct rooms available that are neutral and ready to take on your unique wedding vision!

Recently renovated, The Highline Rochester is comprised of two spaces, the North and South ballrooms.

Both spaces have their own distinct feel to them. What is truly interesting is that you can view photos of both spaces before and after their renovations. Check out The Highline’s website to get an idea of how these amazing spaces evolved. Because who doesn’t love a good before and after?!

Originally a Cadillac car showroom, The Highline Rochester has truly come a long way. The weddings hosted at The Highline are always stunning and filled with lots of natural light. The exposed brick walls of the South ballroom are truly breathtaking and are sure to impress your guests. The South ballroom is the larger of the two and can hold up to 200 seated guests. It also includes, of course, a dance floor.

Beautiful chandeliers fill The North ballroom of The Highline Rochester with the most gorgeous light. It is just smaller than the South ballroom, but don’t mistake this for meaning it isn’t as impressive. It holds 200 people for a ceremony or 70 seated guests. You can enjoy one ballroom, or you can rent them both out for your big day.

With such an open space, it gives you so much flexibility to design the layout in the way that works best with your specific wedding details. Huge dance floor and the most incredible bar. There is even a small space for the girls to get ready or hide in for the big down-the-aisle reveal.

Let’s not forget to mention the iconic wallpaper in the bathroom! It’s such a fun conversation piece and is the perfect spot for those infamous bathroom selfies!

The Highline Rochester is a great location for ALL seasons with its bonus ceremony room because you won’t have to worry about the weather! I personally think this is such a great option for couples who are planning a wedding in those seasons that are less predictable. No one wants the success of their wedding day vision riding on the luck of the weather forecast.

The wonderful thing about The Highline is that you can really make these spaces your own; it is truly a blank slate.

Envision greenery draping from the high beamed ceilings, or a floral altar waiting for you at your ceremony. The possibilities are endless for a wedding at The Highline Rochester.

There are also numerous great locations nearby for photo opportunities, such as the gorgeous George Eastman Museum with its gardens and ivy-covered walls, or the historic Memorial Art Gallery. Want to see more of the George Eastman House? Here is a romantic engagement session in the beautiful gardens.

Sisters Jessica Klein and Alyssa Cohen run The Highline Rochester, and couples who have had their weddings there have had nothing but kind things to say about these two. Always on top of everything on that big, magical, and let’s be honest – stressful day, Jessica and Alyssa are there to make everything go smoothly and will cater to your every need.

The Highline Rochester is one of my favorite venues for weddings in downtown Rochester, with its modernity and elegance, it is sure to make for a wedding you and your guests will love.
