Marissa + Alex | Engaged
Sonnenberg Gardens would be at the top of my list for dreamy locations to get engaged and have my engagement session! When I heard this is where Alex proposed to Marissa last fall with the mansion as a background surrounded by beautiful gardens, I knew this was going to be so so good. A truly romantic gesture that of course swept Marissa off her feet!
What an incredible location to be able to revisit and remember that sweet moment! I can see it now, a cute gingham blanket and a wicker picnic basket on the lawn. Ahhhh, so dreamy! 🙂
They met as teenagers in college and some years, degrees and a house later they are planning a romantic wedding next year at Cobblestone Creek! A love story so sweet and so special and I am super excited to be a part of it!
From our first phone call months ago I knew I was going to love these two! I especially enjoyed Marissa sharing how their families shared a love of going to Disney! I am crossing my fingers that a trip with some matching T-shirts is in the works! 😉 Earlier this year I went back after quite a few years with my daughter and I’m hooked as well!
It was so fun to photograph these two at Sonnenberg Gardens near the spot Alex proposed! It was such a fun way to add a deeply personal touch to the day. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day, we had the best weather and I had an amazing time getting to these two. It’s so much fun for me to have this opportunity to meet my couples before their wedding!
