A wedding at Breezeway Barns & Garden was the perfect location for these two outdoor-loving sweethearts. When I met Virginia and Devon for their engagement session their warmth and care for each other were so incredibly sweet and spoke volumes about their relationship. I had the best time getting to know them and captured so many fun images that documented their loving energy.
Virginia and Devon’s wedding at Breezeway Barns & Garden was warm and inviting and matched their spirit so well. The staff here even made sure the fire was toasty during the ceremony, such a sweet touch!
Their whole day was filled with fairytale and princess vibes from Virginia’s gorgeous dress by Maggie Sottero from New York Bride & Groom of Raleigh, and her flower-filled Tangled-inspired hairstyle. Love, love love!!!
So many good details about a couple and their story are revealed during the toasts, I have so much fun hearing them. It’s the real inside scoop and I am here for it! It was during those speeches I learned the details of how these two met! According to a dear friend Virginia noticed a familiar face and realized the boy she knew in her youth had grown up into a handsome man and the rest is history. 🙂 It was so fun to see so many childhood friends who had grown up together in support of these two, it really was a testament to both their love and character.
This really was a family event and a celebration of blending both families together. Not only did I learn how these two met but the toasts set the stage for a flash mob of sorts that started with Devon’s brother’s speech which turned into a song and ended with both sides of the family singing and dancing together. Such an incredible way to start off the night!! The energy of these two along with their entire wedding party was unmatched on the dance floor! The dance floor was packed from start to finish and the send-off at the end was the perfect way to end the evening!
